I loved all the entries, but I've had to narrow it down to five so that you can vote on which one we should use. Remember, the creator of the winning button will win Seed Pony #158


The entries that aren't in the final five were great and it was a hard decision. I loved the 'Seed Bump Ahead' idea but it would be better for bumping threads over at PI, I wonder if it would be ok to use that sometimes Tropical Colors?

I dunno what I should do... XD I like quite a few of the entries, but I dunno I wouldn't feel right voting for myself and I don't know if I can pick another.. XD today is the nerve wrecking day XD

Actually, I think the five shouldn't vote at all.

Like I said, I don't feel right voting for myself, but that doesn't mean I can't vote for someone else. I'm not helping myself, or trying to boost my lead, so why can't I vote for someone else? Even if it is a contest, and everyone wants to win, I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't mean anything against the other four, but who is to say they won't vote for themselves? You may have a quip about it, but I don't know the others like I do you.

I think the five may vote but not for themselves, they may choose not to vote at all of course, it's up to them

All right, but does it say who has voted for who? Because if it doesn't. Then, who's to say they won't just do it anyway?

Honestly, I don't mean anything against anyone. I'm just saying there are quite a few out there that would try it.

Len, there is no way of stopping someone voting at all, everyone has one vote, I'm asking that they either choose an entry that is not their own or they don't vote at all.

Any cheating caught on here or over at the PI forum is treated with Seed Pony bans so I'm sure that my wishes will be respected.

If there was a way to multiple vote, then it would be a bigger problem but as it stands it's a risk I'm prepared to take. I personally don't think it's as big a problem as the issue of popular members receiving votes from friends even if their entry isn't the best, and there's no way I can police that either.

This is a trial method of judging. If there are a lot of problems then the judging will all be done by myself, I was hoping to bring a few more people over here and get them interested in what's happening as well as finding out which entry they'd actually like to use, not which one I like best.

I still hold overall judgement in the case of a tie, if I sniff cheating, then the poll will be cancelled and you'll all lose the chance to be involved in contests.

I'm sure the five entrants understand the ethics of voting and wouldn't want to ruin it for everyone else.

No I understand. And they are your rules. I just felt the need to suggest it.

this is such a hard choice. XD But they are the top five so I guess that's as it should be lol. I might end up not voting and just seeing what ever happens! So far, Starrstruck's in the lead!
